The Anniversary Festival
What a wonderful festival that we saw on Sunday. After the Lebanese instrumental group played, Natalia came on stage to sing several songs in Greek, lifting the mood and adding to the Festival environment.
The festival concluded with a lively Celtic dance and music performance that left everyone clapping and wondering how they could dance and play instruments at the same time.
Afterwards Paul Lauer and Malcolm, from Malcolm it Loud both gave speeches about Vassula's new book and her latest art work called "Tender Father". The new art work was displayed for all to see during the festival, even though it was still a bit wet.
Claire Mansour had a lovely surprise for Vassula. Once God asked Vassula to sing but she responded saying that she did not have a voice to sing. So instead she and god wrote lyrics to a song called "Emmanuel's Somg". The surpirse...the song after so many years of being only lyrics now has music and was sung for all present.
Unfortunately Fr. Petar from Medjugorje could not join us during the festival but he did give us a letter to red out to all who came. The letter spoke of unity and conversion...something that touched the hearts of all present.
Finally it was time to hear from Vassula and what a lovely speech it was. Dynamic as always, Vassula spoke about Our Father and how loving he is, followed with what the messages had to say about Unity. Vassula concluded with getting everyone to join in and shout together that we are one, under one God. By the end you could feel that everyone present was truly one.
It was an wonderful Festival that was filmed by Telelumiere NOURSAT and will be aired on their news program over the next few days. At a later date the entire Festival will be shown on NOURSAT so that everyone can enjoy the Festival from home.

From airport to airport
But it would not be the last we spoke to this young woman. Once we landed in LA Vassula was greeted with warm hugs and bouquets of flowers and it was only when we started to tell the above story that we realised we forgot to do one important thing...tell her of the Festival that would happen that Sunday! Thankfully it did not take long to spot her in the corner charging her phone. Now she will be there Sunday with her friends.
How did we get in Arkansas?!
In the morning we met with Pastor Ricky Floyd and his wife after a four minute TV interview at WREG Channel 3 morning program. As we were driving we had a childish joy that we were crossing the Mississippi River, something that we had never done before. It was not until we reached the country restaurant that we saw Arkansas souvenirs that we had to ask why we didn't see anything with Tennessee written on. The answer was simple...once we crossed the bridge we were in Arkansas!
During breakfast Pastor Floyd asked Vassula if she would speak to a few members of his ministry. Before we knew it Vassula was witnessing to a small group of people and answering questions. They were especially eager to hear about the Holy Spirit.
Praise The Lord!
Our day was filled with witnessing. Our first stop was WREG where Marybeth Conely would interview Vassula for their weekly religious program.
Afterwards we left to go to TBN station where Pastor Ricky Floyd interviewed Vassula and spoke about the love of The Father and how approachable He is. The Holy Spirit's presence was felt by the pastor especially, so much so that he wanted to have breakfast the following day with Vassula and his wife.
In the evening we had dinner once again with the organizers and Vassula continued to witness to the small group.

North Carolina to Tennessee
In North Carolina just over a hundred people came to hear Vassula speak and we were all blessed to see a very spirited witnessing. Unfortunately our time in North Carolina was short but very sweat.
After the speech we immediately left to catch an airplane to Memphis, Tennessee. Here over a hundred people attended the witnessing including four clergy.
Once the speech finished we went to dinner with the organizers and the clergy. It was a wonderful sight to see everyone come together at one table.

Breaking Bread in Toronto
Welcome to Toronto! Vassula spent the first day of the trip meeting and having lunch with 12 clergy from Toronto. They were eager to hear about Vassula's mission and the new book, Heaven is Real But So is Hell. Towards the end of the lunch many of the clergy were able to ask Vassula questions. Overall it was a productive day and many of the clergy left the lunch looking forward to reading the new book and the messages.

Ya Mariam Ya Om Allah
The end to another pilgrimage has come around again. Although we leave with this in mind there was no better way to end this journey than with dancing and laughter at the farewell dinner. We were able to see traditional dancers from the region. The music was so captivating that not one youth could be found sitting in their seats. We danced the night away. Ending with our favourite song "Ya Mariam Ya Om Allah".
Stay tuned for more stories from On The Road With Vassula! God Bless!

Hearts of St. Peter
There are six hearts that appear outside St. Peter's church when the tide goes out. This heart holds the names of the youth of TLIG, as we are one family in the heart of Jesus.
Frying on the rocks of Galilee
There is nothing more refreshing on a very hot summer's day than setting our feet in the Sea of Galilee outside of the Church of the Primacy of Peter.

Last Supper with Bus 16
Over the last couple of days we walked the Via Dolorosa ending at the Holy Sepulchre. Even though we were touched by the path we walked we found joy and comfort from each other in the youth group. You could feel the love when we entered into the Upper Room and our bonds were strengthened in this holy place. We entered the room with heavy hearts but left with lightened hearts full of joy and laughter filling our group ever since.
Back on the Road With Vassula
We
once again accompany Vassula on one of her many trips, this time we are joined
by 700 pilgrims. Our destination is the Holy Land and there is nothing that we
will not see or experience together.

Quiet on the set...
Here are on set filming a new program.
The cast was so dynamic. There were several times that we were on the floor laughing at some of the comments that were being said. We will have to wait and see the final project, but it will be worth the wait.

New Orleans
For the next 24 hours we would be staying in New Orleans for a radio interview with Jeff Crouere from WGSO radio station. The interview, that you can find on their website, www.wgso.com, went really well. So much so that many people from around New Orleans came to the Barnes and Noble books signing that would take place later that day.
Although the TLIG group in New Orleans is small and there was not a lot of publicity for the signing roughly 25-30 people came to see and hear Vassula speak. One gentleman was in New Orleans with his son and the father wanted to stop by a book store to buy a book he wanted. As they were driving the decided to change the radio station to WGSO. Once they did this they heard Vassula speak and found out that she would be at Barnes and Noble for a book signing. They were enthusiastic with what they heard that they came to the signing and bought a copy of the book.

Florida Sun
During our short stay in sunny Florida, Vassula did a live interview with Malcolm Out Loud. It was a wonderful interview that you can see by visiting his website at MalcolmOutLoud.tv.
What was also special about this trip is that Vassula also managed to tape a new program in front of a live audience. They spoke about the new book, prophecies and even the up coming pilgrimage. What made it unique is that the audience was able to ask Vassula questions. We'll let you know when and where you can see these episodes.

Thank you for staying at our hotel
While we were checking out of the hotel in New York we met the gentleman who helped us check in. He was such a good person that we gave him a copy of Vassula's Heaven Is Real But So Is Hell. He was so happy to receive this gift that he told us he was a Christian from Ghana and was looking forward to reading his new book.
Book Expo America
We had a relaxing day yesterday but it was down to business again. One of the reasons we came to New York was to go to the Book Expo American (BEA). Many people were able to come by the book stall to see the book and speak with Vassula.
#12 on the Huffington Post
Who knew that the Huffington Post is more influential than the New York Times...well at least that is what the PR told us. So we were thrilled when we found out that Heaven is Real but So Is Hell went to #12 on their non-fiction book list!
Greek Day aka Opa Day
It is time for the Greek interview and what a welcoming we received. We traveled to Astoria in New York for the radio and TV interviews and although we started with nice weather it turned into rain by noon. Overall not the perfect conditions for when you are planning to tape a TV interview. Nonetheless a great hit. Both interviewers were moved by Vassula's story.
I don't read books but I was drawn to Heaven Is Real
Wonderful weather plus Memorial Day Holiday meant that many were eager to come to the Advent Shop book signing. It was a great turnout and many were happy to share their story with us. One woman passed by the store and saw the book through the window, she was so taken aback by the cover that she went and bought the book to read that night. She was so touched by the words written that it brought her to tears. The icing on the cake...she doesn't read books but there was something about Heaven ipIs Real but So Is Hell that she just had to read it. And she"s not the only one.
